THREE BORING FOLK crash land in the Himalayas and, naturally, inherit secret powers. Craig Sterling (the gruff STUART DAMON), Sharon McReady (the delightful ALEXANDRA BASTEDO) and Richard Barratt (the what-am-I-doing-here WILLIAM GAUNT) were the ones whose senses had been heightened and, by being able to hear a bit better than everyone else, could save the world. Because baddies always talk in hushed whispers, handily.

Not the most innovative or exciting of ITC’s 1960s shows but at least a decent way to spend an hour when there’s nothing else on. The BBC & Talking Pictures thought it was worthy of being extracted from the archives & dusted down when ITV didn’t want to screen it.
The scene everyone seems to remember is when Alexandra effortlessly lifts her blocked in Mini out of a parking space after some sailors have failed to bounce it out.
Quite amusing for No Place Like Home fans to see William Gaunt a couple of decades before the ever returning adult kids & cheap sherry in the greenhouse.
