INITIALLY a stern-faced weekly science review, but when they realised nobody was listening shifted over to arts coverage – still largely academic and unchortling, apart from the editions around Christmas when they’d let their hair down a bit and do editions on Gerry Anderson and Billy Connolly and what have you. Scrapped, like most long-running Radio 4 shows of the day, in the Night Of The Long Schedule Reshuffles in 1998.
