Blake Edwards pits old partners Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis against each other in a Wacky Races/Monte Carlo or Bust-style international jalopy race, aided respectively by Peter “Push the button, Max!” Falk and Natalie Wood. It’s a fact though that the funniest thing in the film is the graffiti on the gate of Lemmon’s castle which reads, “Professor Fate wears bloomers!”.
