Dracula Has Risen from the Grave

Hammer’s fourth Drac, minus Van Helsing, from that iffy period just after their initial ‘classic’ phase had begun to run out of steam, but when their ‘baroque’ phase hadn’t yet got going properly, so they were left foundering amid rehash upon rehash of the same old hoary comestibles. Freddie Francis jazzes up the dynamics with the occasional bit of psychedelic in-camera jiggery, but we’ll wager you’ll be sleeping the sleep of the damned before the ninety minutes is up.
