Before boring my childish mind to tears with non-stop medicines, miracle cures and other trivia, I delighted at the robots, gadgets and jumble sale fare making the world a joy to live in.
Great was the day when you could experience the future by having the radio on with the telly, or hearing the tinny new sound of 3D stereo. All by far dated long before the vans rolled into TV Centre to show it off.
