This American TV movie consists of three stories all starring the great Karen Black in various guises. The first two tales are of the quality of a particularly weak Tales of the Unexpected entry, but the last segment, with a tiny, posessed African doll chasing Black around the house (and making bizarre Tasmanian Devil noises), seared itself into a thousand late night telly memories. A belated sequel, Trilogy of Terror II (1996), followed, based this time around the talents of Lysette Anthony.
