According to Peter Walker (who directed Ray in HOUSE OF WHIPCORD), Ray Brooks made an absolute fortune from all the voice-over jobs he did, from Mr Benn to countless adverts and King Rollo and the rest. He’s probably as rich as Croesus by now.
