Here We Go Round The Mulberry Bush”, “To Sir With Love”, “Prudence And The Pill”, “Percy’s Progress”, “Doomwatch”, “Dominique” (“will make you shriek!”, quoth Milton Subotsky)…although definitely NOT for “Carry On England”. Throw in her starring role in, erm, “Star Maidens” (for all that that’s TV) and you’ve got a portfolio for anyone’s reckoning.
FINEST HOUR: ‘Getting rogered by a garden hose filled with Fairy Liquid in “Inseminoid”. Try and remember her any other way (apart from Carry On England). But alas, it’s hard – for better or worse, this is her iconic moment.’

She appeared opposite John Wayne in Brannigan, the Duke’s only British film and one I rate higher than his Westerns because it’s set in London in the seventies. a Capri jumping Tower Bridge, a contract killer in an E Type Jag, Dickie Attenborough in a pub brawl, a cameo by Tony Booth and Judy Geeson as The Duke’s female interest, so much better than True Grit.
