BASICALLY WHAT it says. Dad-son team of canines, father with Jimmy Durante voice, son always going “dear ol’ dad of mine!” etc. Mayhem ensued, no doubt, on a regular basis.

Another show that wasn’t repeated for years, causing confusion when Yogi’s Treasure Hunt was made in the 1980s, but not as much as Snagglepuss with his Pink Panther clone looks.

Auggie Doggie now a character in the HBOMax family friendly Hanna Barbera reboot Jellystone featuring just about every H-B character you can name (though Scooby Doo, the Flintstones and Wacky Races are reduced to cameos or side characters like the Pigeon or the Creeper)
Auggie is now explicitly a trans girl, and a good dozen other characters have been gender switched. Yakky Doodle, Jabberjaw, Squiddly Diddly, Loopy de Loop, hardy Har Har, Top Cat’s pals Choo Choo, Spooky and Brain and Dixie Mouse, but of these, only Squiddly Diddly, Jabberjaw, Loopy de Loop, and Bobbie Looey have been stated by the writers to be trans.
Also, Jonny Quest and Hadji are now a couple (now do the same for Mandrake and Lothar, King Features, it’s the only way those characters make sense without being racist).
Shazzan appears too (apparently, they wanted the cartoon version of Jeannie, but that’s owned by Sony).
