More Jules Verne early space flight, with breathtakingly tiny models. Joseph Cotten creates a super explosive and blasts himself and arch rival George Sanders to the moon. Sadly the money runs out when they’re halfway up, so instead of pissing about with stop-motion Selenites like Lionel Jeffries and co, they spend ages bickering amongst themselves in the Victorian command module – a poor substitute.
