I can remember the one with the woman giving birth, daring stuff for the television to show before Coronation St, but very informative, far more than what the school biology teacher told you, or tried to gloss over as we had little sex education at school. Also Doctor Stoppard had this classy maternal look, which made Where There’s Life easier to watch than a schools biology show.
