Channel 5 repeated the whole series late at night when it started, which I would stay up and watch a few times. One thing I noted was that no matter how much murder or mayhem the episode contained, they all ended with the “Epilogue” of Karl and Michael roaring with laughter, which you didn’t get with The Wire, for example.
Also, although the Richard Hatch season was indeed rubbish, it’s worth checking out the story Arnold Schwarzenegger guest starred in as a killer bodybuilder for occasional scenes of unintentional hilarity. Just don’t call him a freak…
