ONE-OFF SCI-FI kids sitcom by GRAY “WICKED WILLIE BOOKS” JOLLIFFE about a bunch of alien robots (led by the titular Steel) taking over the Earth, and battling ANNA “ON THE BUSES” KAREN and DERYCK “PLEASE SYKES!” GUYLER (as a vicar) in the process. Live action and puppetry posed no problem for producer VERITY “WHO” LAMBERT.

Man, if you like metal-based puns you’d be in heaven watching this. Looked like a Gerry Anderson spoof, either by accident or design, sort of Terrahawks three years earlier except it was a comedy. It’s obvious why they never made a series out of it, but a half-recalled memory seems an apt fate. Quite funny in places.
