Kooky, noisy ‘ain’t life crazy’ comedy with Charles Grodin as a stuffy school principal with an increasingly nutzo teacher wife who accepts bribes of half-inched office equipment from her pupils and fails to realise her non-stop-bulshitting dad is stone deaf. Said non-stop bullshitting dad is played by ‘Professor’ Irwin Corey, America’s answer to Stanley Unwin (and model for Boober off of Help! It’s the Hair Bear Bunch), which explains everything. Finally Grodin loosens up and fires a gun off in the street.
