Good film, the perfect example of 1970s co-production, even though everywhere looks cold, even Portugal, Spain’s slightly crappier sibling doubling as Uruguay’s sibling Paraguay. It could ALMOST BE Solihull. And te London-set bit feels like Pete Walker or Norman Warren directed it, Gough, Hayden, London, suburbia, PrunellaScales screaming, gruesome death of Hayden, necktie murder hung on a ceiling-mounted fan…

Richard Marner, the actor who played Colonel von Strohm, has a brief appearance where he is mown down by a BMW while pissing against a wall. Something to do with him being in his sixties and being the same age as Hitler’s father when he died.
