Is that from that “Weekend” show, as in the one with the theme song that went “MondaytuesdaywednesdaythursdayfridayWIK-END(AH)”?

I also reckon that this is an early run-out for the Copycats (they were quite a crew), with Bobby Davro as Elton, Jessica “Voice Of The Queen” Martin as Marilyn Monroe, Aidan J Harvey as Big Daddy (presumably the joke there is ‘Big Mummy’), Allan Stewart as Jacko, and fuck knows the rest.

Is that Dustin Gee doing Dorothy from the Golden Girls at the back?

    In response to part b…

Top row: Michael Jackson, Phil Silvers, Rod Stewart.
Bottom row: Boy George, Big Daddy, Marilyn Monroe, Henry McGee dressed as Elton John.

If it is Dustin Gee, then it’s surely Les Dennis in the Silvers getup.

Good call on Dennis and Gee – I now reckon this is a photocall for 1984’s Go For It (“Go for it to-niiiiighhht!”), with Les Dennis (Bilko), Dustin Gee (Rod Stewart), Aiden J Harvey (Big Daddy), Bobby Davro (Elton), Johnny More (Boy George), Ann Byrne (Marilyn) and Allan Stewart (Jacko).

Les Dennis is playing Boy George (front row).

I don’t know who is playing Phil Silvers….

Here’s the full list. Back: Allan Stewart (Michael Jackson), Johnny More (Sgt Bilko) and Dustin Gee (Rod Stewart). Front: Les Dennis (Boy George), Aiden J Harvey (Big Mummy), Ann Byrne (Marilyn Monroe)and Bobby Davro (Elton John). And the programme? Yup, it’s Go For It, starring – according to LWT – “impressionists of showbiz people”.

Before I read these comments, I was convinced Elton John was played by Philip Pope.
