    Also from that era of post-Saturday Night Fever disco movies – usually either plotless variants on It’s A Mad, Mad… but with disco instead of comedy, Thank God It’s Friday, The Fish That Saved Pittsburgh, etc. or rather depressing dramas like Little Darlings, Foxes, Looking for Mr. Goodbar…

    Then, of course, there was The Stud and The Bitch, Joan Collins ventures into soft porn with disco soundtracks. Rather sleazy and dated now, but somehow a notch above Thank God It’s Friday, which was embarassing even in the late seventies. Also thanks to these films, Joan never looked back and could afford to laugh at her career low point in 1976, Empire of the Ants, papier mache ants rampaging through a fake jungle.
