TV: R is for...

ENDLESS FRENCH cartoon, often found filling in summer weekday mornings, about a small girl and a group of wrecked old robots building a train, and continually running from Cylon-like robots confusingly called “Rotos” in the titles but (due to hasty dubbing) “Wrigglers” on the soundtrack. Many moral lessons taught along the way, no doubt, but all equally forgettable.

Several episodes of this are up on YouTube (including a few where the end credits are interrupted by a dissolve to the “From Thames In Colour” end card – and one where Thames continuity announcer Peter Marshall informs the viewers that “Robostory” will be back at the same time tomorrow… except that it was on the final episode – yes, this had a final episode!).

I liked how Blueberry’s dog was always wiggling his anus at the camera!

Was Robostory the cartoon that was always on during a Sunday morning around the time Network 7 was being shown on C4?
