I was under the impression that Paddles up was filmed on the Tryweryn near Bala?! Great programme though – used to watch it with the whole family!

Watching Paddles Up was very educational and I believe young people do white water rafting in Northampton.

Peter Purves presented Kickstart, not Paddles Up – it was based at Llangollen, Tryweryn & Nottingham in different years.
