Lucky Feller

DAVID JASON lands his first comedy lead and hams it up enormously as eponymous bloke Shorty fashioning himself as a kind of junior Del Boy in order to impress womankind, despite driving a Messerschmet car. Brother, PETER ARMITAGE, more successful at everything. Both ran a plumbing and oddjob business. Punchlines non-refundable.

I can’t believe I have come across this…on the 1st March 1976 I bought my newborn baby girl home from Greenwich District Hospital and I saw this little red bubble car zipping up and down my Street, Arabin Road in Brockley SE 13, and it was David Jason filming Lucky Feller. It was meant to be His “girlfriends ” street. For years I have been trying to remember the name of the programme. I now live in Sydney Australia and my Daughter Emma is now almost 37 and has just given birth to a daughter of her own..Ava Violet..I can’t wait to show her this and the clip I have found…..
