Get Fresh visited my home town of Whitehaven in 1986 and the weather was so bad they had to cut back to the studio. Also Charlotte Hindle lost her rag with some of the crowd when the cameras were off.

The cartoon Centurions was one of the inserts, typically for a 1980s cartoon it was based on a toy line, but not one popular enough to last more than a year or two.

Later it was shown during one of the school holidays as a stand alone programme.

I recall Gian Sammarco of Adrian Mole fame being a presenter on this before his return to obscurity. I also remember him wearing a kilt when they appeared in some Scottish town and Charlotte Hindle lifting it up to see if he had any pants on underneath which seemed very rude for a kids show .
