Anglia Through the Night

BOLD TWILIGHT TIME escapades for Fen-dwelling insomniacs. PHIL FOTHERGILL (chubbier northern Rodney Bewes) and PAUL LAVERS (smarmy Nigel Havers impersonator) linked your usual whatever’s-on-the-shelves pot pourri, notable for relating to viewer(s) the entire plot of each episode of PRISONER: CELL BLOCK H ahead of its screening. Lavers last spotted on a different cable shopping channel every week; location of Fothergill unknown.

Paul Lavers also hosted a season of cult films called ‘Cult Encounters’. One of them was ‘Airplane!’, which kind of defeated the whole point.

The WHOLE point of my intros to ‘Prisoner’ was that I told the viewer what had happened in the LAST episode NEVER the one coming up! Also if you look at the original release of Airplane it didn’t do amazingly until it acquired Cult status

And I’d like to say how much we enjoyed Telly Sales, the Channel 4 documentary about the launch of Ideal World. That was ace.

Bearing in mind our new reader, maybe that comment should be changed to read “PAUL LAVERS (smooth Nigel Havers impersonator)”!

Paul Lavers now of the Entrepreneur Channel…

But he’ll always be the man from Ideal World!

I’ve been corrected by Paul Lavers. My life’s work is at an end, I can die a happy man.
