The premise of this tremendous fantasy fare is a bit shaky and the finale is a bit of a let down, but on the other hand it does star – and in the proper sense of the word an’ all – Patricia Hayes. Also here is Billy Barty and Pat ‘Bomber don’t like that’ Roach. And a bit of casting synchronicity (oooooh!) for fact fans: it also stars Gavan O’Herlihy who was the soon-forgotten Chip Cunningham from off of Happy Days, big brother to Richie who was played by Ron Howard who directed this.
