Sherlock Holmes and the House of Fear

A late-period effort, from when they were churning out three a year, this is based on The Adventure of the Five Orange Pips, though how closely we don’t know, as our telly and our leather-bound Complete Holmes are in adjoining rooms, and niether of them are strictly portable. Therefore, you may get, for your licence money, Ku Klux Klan symbolism, Holmes identifying people’s origins from the shite on their shoes, and a top bit of cross-canon referencing (“I think, Watson,” he remarked at last, “that of all our cases we have had none more fantastic than this.” “Save, perhaps, the Sign of Four.” “Well, yes. Save, perhaps, that.”) Or there may be none of that. Who can tell?
