“Professor Little Old Man!” Mel Brooks stitches up Hitch like a kipper, and gag upon gag accumulates in the lobby. Our favourites include the ill-fated tracking shot into the restaurant, the Blow Up pisstake, and of course Ron ‘I got it… I got it… I ain’t got it’ Carey. Less celebrated than most Brooksiana, which is criminal. If you’re staring blankly at all of this, it’s nesser to make an appointment for this overlooked gem.
