More crime capers, but this is serious blaxploitation fare, with a hamburger seller, a clotheshop owner, the obligatory loaded businessman and a laser-toting vicar getting together to nick three million worth of gems. The caper isn’t up to much, ingenuity-wise, and it all falls apart soon after they make the heist. Still, Pam Grier fans can see her in the first film where she wasn’t in a women’s prison, and Solomon Burke does the soundtrack.
