    As has been noted elsewhere, there’s a lot about this film that was ill-advised at the time, and downright nauseating now.

    In spite of the above it’s still on regular rotation on the film channels.

    Penny Marshall on directing duty, showing there was more to her than Laverne DeFazio, & could handle things on the other side of the camera.
