For the length of time Clive Anderson did chat shows on Channel Four and later BBC1, a surprisingly small amount bar the Bee Gees and maybe that question to Jeffrey Archer has really stuck in the mind, though rather that than these days when any comedian on the planet who shows any aptitude at ad-libbing gets offered their own chat show. The best episode was when Peter Cook played all the guests, and here it is as Channel Four’s comedy season. And wait til you see what’s coming up next week.
