These repeats, like The Secret Life of the Motorway, aren’t just being shown because it’s the middle of summer and it’s not worth putting anything new opposite the Olympics, but also as a celebration of the channel’s tenth anniversary, with significant and popular shows from the past decade getting another outing. This, plus Frank Skinner on George Formby at eight, serves at yet another great example of BBC4′s highbrow looks at low culture, and let’s hope there’s much more of this kind of thing to come.
