As you’ll doubtless have heard, it’s farewell to the next in a long line of iconic BBC buildings as Bvsh Hovse follows the likes of the TV Theatre and Lime Grove into the broadcasting annals, though its new home at Broadcasting House certainly looks pretty impressive. John Tusa used to be the big boss when he ran the World Service – a career sandwiched by presentational roles on Newsnight and the One O’Clock News – so he’s a suitable choice to present this tribute.
