Sadly this is the last thing we’ll ever do on TV Cream because we’ve decided to jack it all in and become one of Gladys Knight’s Pips, because they always look like they’re having a whale of a time, especially that one who just keeps on laughing it up. If that vacancy’s not going we might try to be Osibisa’s drummer. Amusing to hear that Tony physically could not bring himself to say the word “punk” last week, eventually suggesting The Stranglers produced “a bit of that sort of rock”, but far more at home with that new rock phenomenon is Kid Jensen who everyone seems to think is by far the best presenter, livening up the whole show with his enthusiastic presence, so we’re pleased to report he’s in charge tonight. Not playing any punk, mind.
